Icon sets and UI assets
Very small drawings, taken very seriously.
I'm Aksel Viken. I draw icon sets and interface assets in Oslo - nine sets on the marketplaces, and custom glyph languages for product teams who can tell drawn from scaled.

Teams running a glyph language drawn here, with the size of the set each one owns.
Nine sets, one grid
Every set is drawn on the same 24 px grid with the same 1.5 px stroke, so they mix in one product without anyone noticing the seam.
One glyph, three sizes, three separate drawings
Scaling a 48 px drawing down to 16 turns it to mud. So the send glyph, like every glyph here, is drawn once per size.
Every set ships every size as its own source file, so nothing in your product is scaled by the renderer.
What I take on
Four kinds of job, each shipped as files you own outright.
A custom set, from zero
Your product's own glyph language - audited, gridded, drawn, and shipped with the source files.
Extending a set you bought
New glyphs drawn into any of my marketplace sets, indistinguishable from the originals.
An icon audit
Every icon your product shows today, collected and graded against one grid, returned as a redraw plan with counts and costs.
A UI asset kit
Empty states, onboarding spots and micro-illustrations drawn to sit beside your icons, not on top of them.
Where the sets are sold
Same files, same licenses, same prices everywhere - buy wherever you already keep an account.

Audit and brief
I collect every icon your product shows today, grade the lot against one grid, and name what is missing.

The hand behind the grid
I'm Aksel. I draw the smallest pictures in your product, and I take them more seriously than anyone reasonably should.
For seven years I was the product designer who stayed late redrawing the team's icons. In 2016 I made it the whole job. Since then it has been sets - drawn one glyph at a time from a desk in Grunerlokka, Oslo - and custom languages for teams who notice the difference.
Everything here ships hand-drawn at every size it is used at. No autotrace, no marketplace filler, and a pen plotter in the corner that draws every finished set on A3 paper before it goes on sale.

The first set that survived our zoom test
We dropped Cargo into the app on a Friday just to see. Our design lead spent an hour at 400 percent looking for a lazy glyph and gave up.
A custom set, delivered like software
Weekly sheets, version tags, a changelog. By v0.7 our engineers had stopped calling them pictures and started calling them assets.
The 16 px cut is the whole reason
Every other set we tried went muddy in the table rows. These are drawn for that size, and you can feel it without knowing why.
Worth it for the audit alone
The audit found 41 icons from six different sets in our product. The redraw plan paid for itself before any drawing started.
The questions buyers actually ask
The whole license in plain words - the long version ships inside every download.
Can I use a set in a client project?
Yes. The standard license covers one shipped product, yours or a client's. Agencies shipping the same set into many products want the extended license, which every marketplace listing carries.
What exactly is in the download?
SVG sources on the 24 px grid, PNG exports at 1x, 2x and 4x, a Figma file with every glyph as a component, and the keyline template the set was drawn on.
Do the sets mix?
That is the point of the shared grid. Cargo's box sits next to Ledger's receipt at the same optical weight, and nobody in your design review will spot the seam.
Can you add glyphs to a set I bought?
Yes - that is the per-glyph rate on the services list. Extensions are drawn on the set's own template and shipped back in the same file structure you already have.
Who owns a custom set?
You do, outright, source files included. I keep the right to show the work here and nothing else. Exclusivity is the default, not an upsell.
Do updates cost anything?
No. A set is bought once and updated for as long as it exists - the changelog above is what that has meant in practice.
